How to Use the Timesheet Calculator & Calculation Method

Operating Guide

  1. Select Active Days: Check the box beside every day worked. Days unchecked are automatically marked as scheduled days off.
  2. Enter Monday Shift & Copy: If you work consistent hours, set Monday's clock-in, clock-out, and break, then click "Copy Mon to All".
  3. Add Split Shifts if Applicable: Click the "+" icon next to any day to add a secondary work period (such as an afternoon or evening shift).
  4. Export Your Timesheet: Use "Copy Timesheet Summary" to paste text into an email, or "Print Timesheet" to save a physical copy.

Cumulative Timesheet Formula

Daily Net Minutes = (Clock Out - Clock In) - Lunch Break

Weekly Total Minutes = Σ (Daily Net Minutes)

Weekly Decimal Hours = Weekly Total Minutes ÷ 60

Because calculations maintain minute-level precision internally rather than repeatedly rounding daily subtotals, you avoid rounding discrepancies when entering numbers into payroll programs.
